Itinerary

1. Murgia Regional Park

   Departure from the centre of Matera and arrival at the park, on the plateau facing the Sassi.

2. Contrada San Falcione

   Visit to the rock church of the same name; alternatively, the church of San Vito alla Murgia.

3. The park trails

   A walk surrounded by typical Murgia vegetation, with breathtaking views at every turn.

4. Belvedere and film locations

   The stunning viewpoint over the Gravina of Matera and the places made famous by cinema.

5. Madonna delle Tre Porte

   Visit to the rock church with its precious frescoes.
